Part Name Description
Default Model Set v3.3.4 and all Hairstyles
  • Contiguous eye geometry (gets rid of visible dark lines but no specular reflections in eyes when rendered by Modeller)
  • Contiguous eye UVs
  • Head no longer tilted upward
  • More morph targets, including FACS
  • Teeth, tongue and inner mouth in a single mesh and texture (Mouth)

Mixamo Fuse

Adobe Fuse no longer supports customization. These instructions only work with the legacy 1.3 version.

  • Create a face (or load from .fg file)
  • Select the Mixamo Fuse model set, then choose the 'female' or 'male' model part
  • Export to OBJ
  • Use the default normal and ambient occlusion maps.
  • Convert the output texture image to RGBA PNG of size 2048x2048
  • Make the eyelash and mouth areas of this texture image transparent so they'll be generated by mixamo
  • Name these files as described in the Fuse customization instructions.

MakeHuman
  • Create a face (or load from .fg file)
  • Select the MakeHuman model set. The 'a8_v74' mesh will appear. Export to OBJ
  • Use the MakeTarget Blender plugin to create a .target file (the MakeTarget standalone program uses an older incompatible mesh)
  • Overlay the original MakeHuman mouth and teeth textures on the exported texture image, if desired.

3D Printing Model Set

A single watertight quad mesh for 3D printing. Comes in solid and hollow versions (with adjustable wall thickness). Comes in medium and high mesh resolutions. No expression morphs are defined. Switch versions using the 'change model parts' button. Adjust wall thickness from the 'morph' tab.

Elven Model Set

This model set demonstrates how FaceGen can be used to create faces from fantasy races, not just humans. This set was done starting with the FaceGen default hires mesh and demonstrates how the same accessory models (teeth, hairstyles, etc.) can be used. Install as above.

Rapid Prototype Model Set

Similar to the 3D Printing meshes but with the eyes as separate watertight meshes, and all quads converted to triangles. The crease between eyes and head is sharper.

1000 Tri real-time model set

A head mesh divided into front and back halves with different texture maps, a full set of animation morphs, and a torso. Optimized for real-time modification with the FaceGen SDK.

500 Tri real-time model set

A head mesh divided into front and back halves with different texture maps. No animation morphs. Optimized for real-time modification with the FaceGen SDK.

FaceGen V2.0 Model Set

The old default model set for Modeller 2.0. A high and medium resolution head model with separate eye models, both quite dense. A single texture map for the head (except the eyes) with inner lips and eyeliner areas mapped separately, UV layout exaggerating the face area. Hemispherical eyes (or somewhat hemispherical depending on the face shape) for easier eye motion. Includes 31 animation morphs.

Aqua Model Set

A head mesh divided into front and back halves with different texture maps, and separate eye and teeth models. The back half comes in bald and hair-textured versions. There are no animation morphs available for it.

Icarus Model Set

A head model with textured teeth, tongue & sock and animation morphs. Separate models for each spherical-like eye. All share a single texture map. Because of the large texture map (1024x1024 with detail), this model updates very slowly in Modeller, and will crash if your detail texture is too large - make sure to keep your photofit source images small.
